Chemical Mechanical Seal
Chemical Seal is a mechanical seal which is made of ceramic. Its chemical name is Aluminium oxide (Al2O3). It has two types, varying with purity composition of 96% and 99.9%. Due to its high purity 99.9% it is mostly used in acid applications. Even there is a higher usage in the industry; we cannot use the ceramic face where the medium have higher temperature fluctuation. The higher temperature fluctuation will lead a thermal crack on the face of seal.

Conversion from Rope to Mechanical Seal:
Mechanical Seal is an updated product instead of rope in conventional model pumps. Due to frequent leakages in rope assembled pump the pump casing and all other parts disturbed much. We can change old model of rope packed pump into mechanical seal pump, by modifying sleeve, gland and seal.

Multi Spring Mechanical Seal:
Multi Spring Mechanical seal are designed as its name express, the number of spring in its peripheral. Due to very evenly spread of spring compression on the face of mechanical seal, the load will act very much even throughout the size of seal, which will lead very less wear, and help for higher life.
Because of the even load and compactness of springs, the seal can be run up to 6000rpm. However the seal will easily disturb even with very small longitudinal movement of a shaft.
The springs are very small in construction, the pumping medium should be very clear and pure, or else the springs will clog easily which will spoil the life of the seal.
